Disclaimer:: I am NOT a supplement Guru.
But I do have a medicine cabinet full of supplements. My problem is, I’m fickle & non-committal. Like boyfriends, I start, stop, run out of or completely forget about my supplements. Sometimes I go months without taking any at all. True that to boyfriends lately.
But, I’ve recently decided, I LOVE Hair ReVive.

My client, Laurie, told me about this a couple of months ago. I ran out to my neighborhood Vitamin Shoppe and picked up a bottle. I had been having real problems with my genetically-baby-fine hair for several months due to stress?, wacky adrenals?, a possible thyroid hiccup?, whothehellknowswhat! My hair had become dry, dull, brittle & falling out. It sucked! I was sad.
I used the first bottle consistently w/out noticeable results and I got another before I ran out. But, guess what? I shelved it and forgot about it. Typical. Then something strange happened, a few weeks later I started noticing that my hair was looking & feeling better. So I started taking it again. Now, another month later and my hair is about 90% better. It’s growing like crazy, it’s no longer falling out and it’s full & shiny. It just seems to have more ‘life’.
I’m cautiously optimistic. I’ll try to take this one seriously & consistently. I’ll keep ya posted.
Click on the link below for nutritional facts. The best on-line price I’ve found is at Amazon.com, for about $20 +shipping. I get mine at The Vitamin Shoppe for $29.99
Thanks Laurie !!

Gweneth…, er, I mean Pepper Potts, the former CEO of Stark Industries, was Rockin’ it in Iron Man 2 !! WOW ! The power of the ponytail. She even wore a pony to the Monaco Grand Prix Gala. This is by far my Fav ponytail.

The ponytail is not just for little girls or bad hair days, and can be worn for any occasion. There are SO many ways to wear a pony, you really can’t go wrong, but here are some guidelines.
High & Tight: Get your mind outta the gutter & see photo —–>
You can pull it off two different ways,
either mod & severe or 50s girlie, think Sandra Dee.
Either way it’s super retro.
Low and Sophisticated: Think New York power lunch, it’s simple,
sleek & chic. Worn low on the nape of the neck, it’s great for short hair.
*Try it with a low side part.
The Side Pony: The side pony is super fresh. It’s a modern take on the ‘half up/half down do’.
Be sure to give it some curl or wave for ‘do’ness.
Carrie Underwood, Gorgeous !!
Sporty Spice: Back to Ms. Potts’ pony, above. Not too high, not too low. A medium height pony gives you room to add teasing at the crown for interest. Wear this pony neat-as-a-pin or a little messy & fun.
And girls, be sure to remind the boys that it’s a ponytail, not a stick shift !! ; 0

What’s Do :: Everybody knows the pixie cut is H.O.T. – hot right now. Photos of Carey Mulligan are ev. ry. where ! My personal fav is Mia Wasikowska. I also like that she didn’t Hollywood-ize her last name ; )
A Little History :: Twiggy, int’l supermodel & fashion icon of the 60s, sported this mod crop in 1966. She was just 16 & about to explode. In 1968, Mia Farrow brought it to the streets & the mainstream during the popularity of the horror flick Rosemary’s Baby.
It was Vidal Sassoon who shore off Mia’s long locks & created this gamine masterpiece that suited her so well. For the record, Audrey Hepburn (my fashion hero) wore her hair quite short (tho, not pixie-short) as early as 1954, in the film Sabrina. Julie Harris was downright butch in 1952. Very daring women !
Rocked It! Hall Of Fame :: Winona Ryder, Natalie Portman, Halle Berry, Sharon Stone, Rihanna & Victoria Beckham.
Let’s Get Real :: The pixie cut is not for everyone. It works best on straight, fine hair. It showcases high cheekbones, a dainty nose & large eyes. You need to feel really good about yourself to pull-off this short cut with confidence. Maintenance will be much to keep it looking fresh. Though, sometimes a cut like this looks even cuter when it gets a little scruffy around the edges. Unless you can rock a faux-hawk, there won’t be much style variation so have fun with the color to help keep you from getting bored. You can have fun with headbands & clips too.
